As a social media associate at SLAM, Jared is the lead for the brand’s dedicated sneaker channel, SLAM KICKS. In addition to creating social content across numerous SLAM verticals, Jared has produced dozens of cover shoots with NBA, WNBA and college basketball players, including Ja Morant, Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Maxey, Caleb Wilson, Natasha Cloud and Paolo Banchero.
His writing has been featured in over 30 issues of SLAM magazine, including both cover stories and features.
While maintaining his social and editorial responsibilities, Jared has led the production on several brand partnership campaigns, including two Summer European Tours with Jordan Brand signature athletes Luka Dončić and Jayson Tatum.
Before arriving at SLAM, Jared served as an associate at SneakerNews where he covered the sneaker industry with a specialty in basketball footwear and was invited by Jordan Brand to Paris for to cover the company’s Quai 54 tournament and the signature sneakers of Luka Dončić, Jayson Tatum and Zion Williamson. He has additionally served as a freelancer with Boardroom and Flagrant Magazine.
